In North Carolina

Doug landed in North Carolina on Friday of last week. The remainder of his guys made it there on Sunday. They have medicals again - I guess the military wants a complete account of your health before, during and after a trip to Iraq. My husband is rickety, but what do you expect of a 40 year old who has run countless miles carrying his 200 plus pound body. He may very well have a hip replacement years down the road. Hmm, wonder why he married a younger woman?
Anyways, he is enjoying his beer and time off but ready to come home. He should make it to San Antonio and meet his daughter later this week! I can't believe it is just a few days away. After days of looking for just the right thing, Addie has her outfit all picked out and she can't wait!!
