Austin Zoo

Addie's Gamma and Grandpa Gardner came in town on Sunday to go to the Austin Zoo with us. If you have never been, it is a great place for kids under 3 or 4. It is more of a sanctuary for neglected or donated animals. Most of them were sleeping but the deer and goats were hungry and the deer were very gentle. Addie laughed evertime the deer would nibble and lick her hand. We happened to go the same weekend as the Vegetarian Chili Cookoff - we were in the company of plenty of Austin hippies.

Halloween

The big bad wolf, the three little pigs and little red riding hood set out for the hunt for candy Tuesday night. Addie was more interested in the pumpkins and trying to walk into houses than the candy. She was done at the end at the end of the evening. In that respect she takes after her daddy with that hot temper.

Trip to the Frio

A few weeks ago we took a trip to the Frio River for a bike ride with Jerry, Karyn, & Benny. Benny was not so sure of Addie - she made him cry every time he looked at her. I guess she is already making men cry - takes after her mamma!
And that is a pacifier in her daddy's mouth....
