Overdue Misc Updates

I am afraid that I am getting worse. Time seems to slip away and no time for blog updates. So I thought I would post some updates and promise pictures in the next week or so.

Last time I wrote, Doug took Addie to Florida for the week and I met up with them mid-week. They did great! I missed them terribly but it was only two days. Addie loved having the constant attention with 6 adults and two little ones wrapped around her little fingers. She did fabulously on the plan - I have to say, my girl is a good sleeper! Speaking of - she has really taken to sleeping well at night! I feel blessed. Of course she has to be constantly entertained during the day so it is a give an take.

Doug returns to work tomorrow : ( and his Mr. Mom days are coming to an end. The time the two of them have had together has been sweet - he is a great dad and pays attention to details!

Oh and the other big event - we sold and closed on the Round Rock house! I have been keeping the pending sale under wraps as I was worried that it would fall through - but we actually closed!! Unfortunately, we did not make any money on the sale but we got back what we put into it so I guess I can't complain too much.

First Night Away

Tonight is the first night Addie has been away from me or should I say I have been away from Addie. Doug has taken his girl on a trip to go see friends of ours in Miami. I can't get there until later this week so I am all by my lonesome at home. Needless to say, I miss my girl already. It was pretty cute seeing them off at the airport - Daddy and his little girl.

Slept Through the Night!

Last night was a memorable night! Addie went to bed at 9:30 pm and did not wake up until 8:30 am! Of course I kept waking up to see if she was okay and to look at the clock in dismay. And she has taken a few naps today still - she must take afer her parents.

Halloween

What is your first Halloween without a costume? Addie was a sweet little ballerina.

Trip to the Beach

We took our first plane flight to CA this past weekend and it went great! Of course the only picture of our flight trip includes me with half open eyes and an almost crying baby but it really went smoothly. We went and saw some friends of ours just North of LA and had a nice little and needed vacation. We were supposed to be in Mexico but our trip was nixed due to the hurricane. Luckily we did not get stuck there! So we are splitting up our vacation into a short few days in CA and we are off to Miami in a few weeks. Addie was a little angel on the plane - sleeping most of the way so we are ready for our next challenge!
